This is my favourite tree. It stands in Heaton Park along the road that leads from Heaton Hall down towards the boating lake. Although there are other trees next to it, the tree almost stands alone. Its branches are entwined in such a way that it looks like two dancers dancing. On the other side of the tree is a small hollow and if you lean with your back against the trunk of the tree you can sometimes feel its heart beating.
