Driving along the motorway today I saw a big hoarding with a quote from the New Testament.
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.I've often thought that the Bible can be translated and interpreted in many ways, and I suppose my philosophy is what works for me (and I understand it may not work for you). Lately little verses have been popping up, either in my head or appearing somewhere.

whole world, but loses his soul?
My concept of the divine is as something that is within us. I think sometimes that the Bible is a bit of a lateral thinking puzzle. When I saw the quote on the motorway today I immediately thought about that same idea. You can only reach the Source ("the Father") through me i.e. yourself, the I Am. I have a theory that perhaps if you looked at the original Greek or Aramaic that the word "me" would refer to the self. It makes sense to me!
If you carry on that theme, we're back to that same idea - you have to go within to create the life that you want, and that's where you'll find your truth and your joy.
I came across the You Tube clip today. It talks about Soulmate relationships being a stepping stone on the path to reaching your Source. It isn't always an easy path and, until you tap into the spiritual side of yourself, and start to see a higher purpose for what's happening to you, it can seem like a very dark tunnel to be travelling through. But it becomes a doorway. Somewhere along the way you find a key. And gradually, bit by bit, those jigsaw pieces start falling into place.
I am the width, the breadth, the height
I am the way, the truth, the light.
